This was going to be a much harsher story, but I read something terrifyingly depressing right before I started it writing it and I knew then that the werewolf AU would have to be super fluffy to make up for it. The practical upshot of this is that instead of fighting at the beginning, they fight at the end.

Unrelatedly, the angels were supposed to represent a third gender in this story, but I couldn’t find room to make it matter to the plot.

You know how sometimes you just start typing, and word by word it’s as much of a mystery as if you were reading it off the page with everyone else? That’s how I felt about this story. Luckily,

marcicat was there to laugh at me, put up with holiday music, and exclaim over how happy Jess and Sam actually looked.

This is why I have trouble with prompts: I get so distracted by the story that I forget what the challenge was. This was going to be about the Supernatural characters being in a band, right? Well, Dean has a microphone, Cas has an appropriate t-shirt, and Sam and Gabriel spend some time on the bus.
